Welcome to L’Aire de L’Aigle (The Place of the Eagle) a unique luxury alpine chalet located in the beautiful Vallée de la Manche just above Morzine in the French Alps.

The Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty and we have taken great care into building a property sympathetic to its surroundings yet luxurious, comfortable and practical. The chalet is a family home and rented on a self catering basis.

It is constructed from 200 year old pine beams, wood from a fromagerie in the Auvergne, hand cut stone from the nearby Samoëns, large slate tiles from the Morzine mine, flagstone floors from Burgundy, antique oak flooring and stone for the drive and terrace also from the Auvergne.

The house is 5km above the town at 1200m in the hamlet of L’Erigné. A single bar and restaurant serve the collection of 20 farmhouses and chalets with the shops, restaurants, bars and ski lifts of Morzine and Avoriaz just a short drive away. The chalet’s position is as stunning in the summer and autumn as it is in the winter.
