L’Aire de L’Aigle is rented on a self catering basis.

The chalet has a private drive, lined by a rock wall. There are four garages with remote controls. Two of garages lead directly into the chalet. In the ski room are boot warmers, ski racks (although you can also leave skis on your cars), shoe racks, a coat hanging area, and a large drying cupboard.

On the ground floor the chalet has 5 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (all with shower, bath, washbasin and toilet.) The bedrooms are all individually designed: three have double beds and two have twin beds. The twin beds can be converted to double beds if preferred. The twin bedded rooms can also be joined to double rooms to make family suites (with 2 bathrooms) or separated by locked doors.

A large, sweeping wooden staircase with a glass wall takes you to the first floor living area where you have dramatic mountain views through a 5m high wall of glass and runs the full 10m of the living area. Wood, taken from a fromagerie in the Auvergne, lines the roof above you and is in turn supported by huge 200 year old beams. The floors are oak and covered with rugs.

At one end of the living area is a stone wall and in its centre a three metre wide fireplace. At the other end stands the oak dining table that seats 16. There is a wide screen television, DVD and video recorder all with surround sound. UK satellite TV reception is also possible.

Separated from the living area by a wooden bar is the kitchen with granite work surfaces, double ovens, two fridge/freezers, two dishwashers and a large larder. The guest cloakroom is also on this floor.

An external wooden balcony runs the full length of this floor with a large deck at one end.

Over the living area is a mezzanine floor with the seventh en-suite bedroom (ideal for, but not limited to, children), a large play area and a study. The mezzanine is accessed from the living area.

The master bedroom and bathroom is situated off the living area (and well sound proofed.) This bedroom is a chalet within a chalet with vaulted ceilings, 2 private balconies and a walk-in wardrobe. In the bathroom is a double bath and a large shower room with hand cut marble tiles.
